old and feeble

Rock climbing is not without its downside, as I have recently discovered. It seems that if you reach too far past your natural stretch point, and then put all your weight on that arm, bad things happen. Such as the pinching/tearing of tendons in your shoulder.

The physio says that if it is just a pinch it should be right in a few weeks, and I have had the injury for a bit over 3 weeks. So five weeks all up. I hope this does not become a recurring type of thing.

I have the sneaking suspicion that this would have just magically healed were I still young. At 28 I am already noticing the onset of age. I still think climbing is fun.
