It is already shaping up as a great birthday. Most of my immediate family have called and Kirsten has outdone her usual birthday surprise.
I woke to a house filled with balloons, streamers and banners saying that “The party’s here”. Then it was time for the present hunt as Kip had hidden my gifts throughout the house.
Through the hot and cold method I was able to find them all, some from the Buy Presents For Darryn website and some not. I got:
- 3 video tapes for my digital camera;
- The Lonely Planet guide to Malaysia, Singapore and Brunei;
- The good vibrations 2005 CD;
- and best of all, 2 good vibrations tickets!
Uitstekend!
I plan to spend the day at the beach, probably Manly and Shelly Beach, as Kirsten, being a European, does not know how to swim in surf – it terrifies her. We will get in a nice lunch (courtesy of Mum) and tonight for dinner Phil and Honey will be making their famous Chili Crab. Yum!
